Contra Costa to Honor 'People Who Make A Difference' Combating Alcohol, Drugs

What:
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors will recognize individuals and groups that have made a significant impact combating alcohol and other drugs on Tuesday, May 14. This year's "People Who Make A Difference" winners include students, law enforcement personnel, community volunteers and others. A reception will follow the Board of Supervisors meeting.

Why:
Abuse of alcohol and other drugs has a negative impact on families and communities. By working to combat alcohol and other drugs abuse, individuals and groups create a healthier community for all residents.
