Contra Costa to Honor 'People Who Make A Difference' Combating Alcohol, Drugs

What:

The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors will recognize individuals and groups that have made a significant impact combating alcohol and other drugs on Tuesday, May 17. This year's "People Who Make A Difference" winners include students, law enforcement personnel, community volunteers and others. A reception will follow the Board of Supervisors meeting. When & Where:

9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17 at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 651 Pine Street, Martinez. Reception will take place in Room 100.

Why:

Abuse of alcohol and other drugs has a negative impact on families and communities. By working to combat alcohol and other drugs abuse, individuals and groups create a healthier community for all residents.
