Contra Costa Announces Funding Opportunities to Provide Mental Health Services

The Mental Health Division of Contra Costa Health Services is making available up to $1 million to provide trauma services for sexually exploited youths or to address child custody issues for parents or guardians experiencing episodes of mental illness. Available funding for each component is a maximum $500,000. Funding is provided through the Innovation Component of the state Mental Health Services Act.
Community-based organizations with experience providing mental health services to one or both of these populations are encouraged to apply.
There is a mandatory bidder’s conference for the request for proposals (RFP) to provide trauma services for sexually exploited youths from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 9 at 1340 Arnold Drive, Suite 200, Martinez. RSVP to email@example.com The deadline to submit an RFP is 5 p.m. Friday, July 8.
