Music and Art Show Reveals County Health Care Workers´ Creative Side

WHAT:
The Third Annual "Healthcare Workers as Creators" features art and musical and dance performances by county health care workers and includes a silent art auction. Performers will include Tommy Nunnelly, a Contra Costa Health Services employee who was recently named R & B Vocalist of the Year by the Bay Area Blues Society. Food and drinks will be provided.
WHEN:
5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2008
PEHAB is one organization trying to address these issues and is recruiting new members, said Joanne Genet, PEHAB Executive Assistant.
WHERE:
Contra Costa Regional Medical Center (CCRMC), outside lawn, 2500 Alhambra Avenue, Martinez.
WHY:
The event celebrates health care workers as artists and will raise money for the Health in Harmony Project in Indonesia and a grandparents and youth program in Richmond. The event is sponsored by ArtsChange, a nonprofit organization that grew out of the Richmond Health Center´s Quilt of Many Colors Project.
