Contra Costa Health Services is seeking new members to serve on the Public and Environmental Health Advisory Board (PEHAB).
PEHAB is a 19-member board with members appointed by the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors to advise Contra Costa Health Services, the county's health department, on emerging health issues with representation from the communities in Contra Costa.
Currently, the Board has three openings and is seeking representatives from School/Adolescent Populations, Labor, and West County At-Large.
Board members should work or live in Contra Costa County. We welcome a broad range of participation from individuals with community or health backgrounds. PEHAB is committed to diversity in its membership. Members are required to attend the full board meetings on alternative months (6 times per year) and participate in one committee (generally meeting on alternative months).
