Why
Elderly, children and people with chronic health problems are particularly at risk for heat related illness and should take precautions such as limiting outdoor activity; drinking plenty of fluids; wearing lightweight, light-colored and loose-fitting clothing; going to a community air-conditioned facility; and checking on family and friends that are at high risk. Do not sit, or leave children and/or pets in cars.
