Funds Available for Applicants to Provide Mental Health Services to Children in Far East County

What
Contra Costa Health Services' Mental Health Division is announcing the availability of $1.5 million from the Mental Health Services Act (Prop. 63) to create new mental health services for children and their families in Far East Contra Costa County. Requests for Proposals are currently being sought.
Who
The Mental Health Division seeks to work in partnership with one or more community-based organizations that are experienced in providing mental health supports and services to the target population: unserved children 18 or younger in Far East Contra Costa who have a history of repeated failure in learning environments (including home, childcare, preschool and school), and who are from families at or below 300% of poverty level and not eligible for other funding services.
When and Where
A mandatory Bidders Conference will take place on Thursday, September 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at 2425 Bisso Lane in Concord. Proposal submissions must be received by 5 p.m. Thursday, September 28 at Contra Costa Mental Health Administration, 1340 Arnold Drive, Suite 200, Martinez, CA 94553. No late proposals will be accepted.
