What:
The Alcohol and Other Drugs Advisory Board of Contra Costa County is seeking nominations for the 2005 "People Who Make a Difference" Awards. The awards recognize individuals and groups who have contributed significantly towards combating alcohol and other drugs in Contra Costa communities.
When and Where:
Nominations must be received by Monday, April 18, 2005

Who:
The nominee must meet one or more of these criteria:
- Identified an alcohol and other drug problem and initiated effective change
- Contributed to reducing the impact of alcohol and other drugs in Contra Costa communities
- Produced a significant shift in community alcohol and other drugs awareness
There are six award categories for 2005 Volunteer Individual, Volunteer Group, Non-Volunteer Individual, Non-Volunteer Group, Youth Leadership Individual and Youth Leadership Group.
The winners will be acknowledged at a Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors meeting scheduled for Tuesday May 17 at 9:30 a.m., 651 Pine Street, Martinez
