Other Enteric

Enteric diseases are caused by bacteria, viruses, or parasites that enter the body through the mouth and then the intestinal tract and are usually spread through contaminated food and water or by contact with feces (stool) or vomit.

Keeping hands clean (handwashing) is one of the best way to prevent illness.
